White Jade Switches

Greetings! We are DesignerStudio. We are currently dedicated to designing unique and excellent feeling switches. Since we were formerly working in the antique industry, blending the traditional and elegant Chinese culture and elements into our design is our goal. And we hope to bring more interesting and insightful custom mechanical keyboard products in the near future.
Design & Structure
In the beginning, White Jade switches was designed to be a Holy Panda alternative product. In Nov 2020, we received our first prototype and saw the potential of a new material combination. Then, two months later, we again received the new prototype. However, the mold did not meet our expectations. We spent another 3 months repetitively fixing the mold, and the final prototype did not fail us. White Jade switches had become a completely new product with strong tactility and thocky bottom-out sound performance.
For the appearance, we reached out to a professional jade-carving team and experts from the National Museum of China to give us some instructions on the colorway. And we also had several rounds of prototyping on the housings.
